Welcome to The Gannon House, a website created and maintained by John Dickerson, a recent graduate of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park – and soon-to-be doctoral student at Carnegie Mellon University.

Recently, I was published in Science magazine and interviewed by Scientific American. A project to which I contributed was covered by Popular Science. At AAMAS-2010, my Erdös number will be 3.

The popular tongue-in-cheek news site The Register describes me as a computer "boffin" (nerd) with "plans to create a lifelike virtual Matrix-style simulation of the entire world and human race." I feel this is a bit ambitious, but appreciate the sentiment!
